Rob talks Running
Welcome to the podcast. I’m Rob Watson, an ex-pro marathoner with a 2:13:29 personal best (pre-super shoes), 11th place finisher at the 2013 Boston Marathon, and 20th at the World Championships in Moscow that same year. Nowadays, I’m a coach with Mile2Marathon and generally just a big running nerd.
On this show, we dive into all things running, with the occasional detour into cycling and triathlons. It’s a lighthearted, fun take on the sport we love, so sit back, relax, and let’s talk running.

Miles To Go: Ep 5. The Comeback. Cross training like an animal to get to that startline
Ok folks, things are looking up! The countdown to race day is on and Dylan is cross-training like an animal to get on that start line healthy and ready to jam. DW lets us in on the "innovative" cross-training methods he's using to stay fit. He reflects on the motivation he draws from fellow athletes and the importance of maintaining a positive mindset during recovery.
We discuss our preferred cross training modalities, drawing inspiration from our boy Jakob and feathering the line of how hard to send it while toeing the line of injury.
Thanks so much for tuning in, I hope you enjoy the episode.
