Welcome to the podcast. I’m Rob Watson, an ex-pro marathoner with a 2:13:29 personal best (pre-super shoes), 11th place finisher at the 2013 Boston Marathon, and 20th at the World Championships in Moscow that same year. Nowadays, I’m a coach with Mile2Marathon and generally just a big running nerd.
On this show, we dive into all things running, with the occasional detour into cycling and triathlons. It’s a lighthearted, fun take on the sport we love, so sit back, relax, and let’s talk running.

Miles To Go: Ep 4. Injury. Dylan has had a set back. We talk it through, try to come to terms with it and strategize how to bounce back from it.
In this episode of Miles to go, Dylan shares his recent experiences with injury and the mental challenges that come with it as he prepares for an upcoming marathon. We get into the physical and emotional aspects of training, the importance of resilience, and the realities of being an athlete facing setbacks.
We discuss strategies for recovery, the significance of maintaining a positive mindset, and the shared experiences of runners navigating similar challenges.
The conversation highlights the emotional journey of running, the need for patience during recovery, and the value of sharing experiences to connect with others in the running community.
