Rob talks Running
Welcome to the podcast. I’m Rob Watson, an ex-pro marathoner with a 2:13:29 personal best (pre-super shoes), 11th place finisher at the 2013 Boston Marathon, and 20th at the World Championships in Moscow that same year. Nowadays, I’m a coach with Mile2Marathon and generally just a big running nerd.
On this show, we dive into all things running, with the occasional detour into cycling and triathlons. It’s a lighthearted, fun take on the sport we love, so sit back, relax, and let’s talk running.

23. Colleen Quigley: Olympian, Ambassador, Advocate and Braid Enthusiast.
This week I chat with Colleen Quigley: Olympian, lululemon ambassador, mentor, advocate and so much more.
Colleen shares the story of her rise in the sport, from her collegiate days to becoming one of the top steeplechasers in the world. We talk about the tough lessons learned from injury setbacks, and how those challenges have shaped her approach to training, competition and leadership.
We also discuss the evolving role of social media in connecting with fans, her foray into cycling and triathlon, and ultimately how she is getting back into her running groove.
This was a fun chat, I hope you enjoy it!
Oh, and there is also a quick training update w/ Shan at the end :)
